BY JOHN ELLENBERGER – At the regular session of the GDRSD school committee Director of Technology Luke Callahan unveiled the long-awaited technology plan that he and a large advisory team have been working on for most of this school year. Although the 67-page densely packed document is rather daunting, Superintendent Kristan Rodriguez was quick to point out that its budgetary recommendations were more modest than anticipated by the general public, although this is due in part to the fact that the recommended hiring and increases in professional development were already included in the superintendent’s previously published “needs budget.” Please continue reading at the Groton Herald…
